Saturday is Derek’s birthday! He doesn’t want any
presents. Sure, you can send him a message through his MySpace page or drop him an email, but
nothing more is necessary. If you do insist on sending him something, he does
have a limited wish list on Amazon.com. For his birthday, Derek will be off this
week. You might be thinking to yourself, ‘I hate Derek and love Romaine. This is
a present for me too!’ In that case, you are welcome. If you are thinking ‘This
sucks! I’ll miss Derek’s grating laugh and undercurrent asides while Romaine is
trying to talk.’ Don’t worry. He will be back in a week. Plus, there is a new
“Thank You, Good Night” while he is gone and it sure is a whopper! If you are
that concerned, you can always catch the entire first season of his free video
podcast at TheSoRealLife.com. And today, there is an on-air bon voyage party for
his birthday featuring special guest co-host Ben Patrick Johnson. Poor Romaine
will be working her fanny off this week, so she is taking the Friday off
beforehand to mentally prepare for all the immense joy she will experience
having the show all to herself.
Well, she won’t be completely alone.
Ron Dodd is filling in as the guest
co-host. Plus, Danglin’ Dan will
be there of course, along with Greg
the Intern. Romaine will have some fun friends back to join her including a
slew of Penthouse Pets on Monday, October 30th, Violet Blue on
Wednesday, November 1st, and tons of surprises during Trick or Treat
