Previously on Derek and
Romaine: Kind of a slim week of Derek and Romaine.
They weren’t there on Monday for the
Labor Day holiday, although you did get to hear best-of interviews with Donald
Trump, Suzanne Somers, Meredith
Vieira, Dennis Rodman and more. Not a bad list of celebrities for our little
show. Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday, Derek and Romaine returned
to work filled with vim and vigor. The week kicked off with Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy, who gave a preview of this
year’s storylines (Kimber is a Scientologist!) and also talked about his
upcoming movie “Running With Scissors,” which could be this year’s Brokeback Mountain. Chris Steele joined the show on
Wednesday to talk about the latest two-parter from Falcon called “Velvet Mafia”
which features many of the stars who have been on DNR including Matthew Rush,
Roman Heart and Erik Rhodes. Wednesday also marked the debut of Episode #3
(Carrots and Celery) of Derek’s free video podcast “The So Real Life.” This week’s episode, available for download
at iTunes, is just another graphic glimpse into Derek’s everyday life,
adding another dimension to what you hear on the radio. Finally, the week ended
with another best-of show and Derek and Romaine journeyed to Jackson, NJ to ride roller coasters with listeners at
Gay Night at Six Flags.

Those of you who missed your
opportunity to eat funnel cake with DNR have a second chance this weekend at Six
Flags Over Texas. Gay Day at Six
Flags is just one of the many events that will dominate this big gay weekend in
Dallas.
The fun kicks off on Friday,
September 15th with a live broadcast from Buli Café on Cedar Springs Road.
Come by to watch the action live with special guests The Texas Cowgirls and hunky Mark
Dalton. Plus, bring your Six Flags tickets or season pass and receive a free DNR
Summer Tour t-shirt, while supplies
last. Then, join DNR on Saturday at
Gay Day at Six
Flags from 10am-3pm and/or at Gay Bingo on
Saturday night starting at 6pm. Sunday brings DNR to the Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade
which kicks off at 2pm, followed immediately by the rally in Lee Park. Don’t
miss all the fun! Leading up to that action packed weekend in Dallas, DNR have a great
week of guests and fun planned direct from the Rockefeller Studios of Sirius
Satellite Radio. This Wednesday is
the best day to start watching Derek’s video podcast “The So Real Life” since it is the debut
of Episode #4, Romaine’s favorite episode! And as always, if you need some free
stuff, pick up a free DNR euro decal for the back on
