Subject: Derek and Romaine: The So Real Life

Attachments: ATT00622.txt

Previously on Derek and Romaine: The obsession with “Snakes on a Plane” culminated with an in-studio interview with Samuel L. Jackson. That was just the tip of the fun iceberg this past week on the show. Alexis and Jennifer from Martha 112 tried to rope Derek and Romaine into their shenanigans, attempting to steal Mongo, the Sirius mascot, and hold it hostage until the ladies room is cleaned to their satisfaction. By Friday, the girls had the stuffed dog bound and gagged in their studio. By the end of the show on Friday, Alexis had bolted for the exit with the animal. Did she make it to the subway? Will they get fired? Or will the ladies room finally be cleaned to Alexis’ satisfaction? Tune-in to Martha 112 at 5pm ET/2pm PT to find out. In addition to that madness, Rosario from Will & Grace joined the show, as did Jay McCarroll, the winner of Project Runway Season One and singer Randi Driscoll in a live performance to send the show out with a bang.

Coming up this week on Derek and Romaine (all times Eastern, unless otherwise noted):  Terrific guests and the release of Derek’s video podcast make this one of the best weeks ever on DNR. Catch the fabulous Shannen Doherty, star of the new Oxygen series “Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty” and Jackie Warner, the built star of Bravo’s hit “Workout.” Plus, Cousin Stevie from Showtime’s hit “Family Business,” a gay professional wrestler, and legendary club DJ Junior Vasquez celebrates his birthday in grand style. And of course, Derek’s video podcast “The So Real Life” debuts on iTunes this Wednesday, August 23rd. It’s an eight episode reality show that gives you a first ever look inside Derek’s apartment and his daily life. See what makes one of your favorite radio personalities tick (hint: it’s alcohol and pudding). See photos online or watch the trailers. Plus, download the theme song by Advantage Lucy. It’s even in Japanese. The podcast, the song, the everything is free. Plus, if you need more free stuff, pick up a free DNR euro decal for the back on your car. Everybody’s doing it.
