Previously on Derek and Romaine: It was an exciting week on the show. DNR returned from Portland, OR where they emceed both Pride Northwest and the parade. Both Derek and Romaine fell madly in love with Portland, despite Derek’s dust-up with a protester at the parade. At least it wasn’t Sandra Bernhard on The View. Or Fred Phelps’ hag of a daughter Shirley on Fox News. The rest of the week was spent with Derek wearily clearing old junk out of his closet and giving it away on the air. Whatever. It’s been a long month. Pride events in Salt Lake City, Washington DC, Portland, OR, and now finally, the last event of the month: Atlanta Pride. Even Romaine has started to get a little crabby. Click, Click, Click. The next event isn’t until the end of July with San Diego Pride and a Friday night appearance on July 28th at Dennis Hensley’s Mismatch Game at the Renberg Theater in Hollywood, CA. At least they finally added a new segment to the show: Celebrity High Hopes during Tabloid Tuesday. Hope you liked it. They are doing it again next week. DNR have high hopes that you will tune in again!

 

Coming up this week on Derek and Romaine (all times Eastern, unless otherwise noted):  The week begins with Atlanta Pride in Georgia. It’s a three day event starting on Friday evening around 6pm. DNR will be your emcees of the smaller Friends of Pride stage from 6:30pm to 9:30pm which includes a performance by the fabulous Eric Himan. Saturday and Sunday will find them alternating between the Sound Sensations/Sirius Satellite Radio booth passing out limited edition DNR Summer Tour t-shirts from PureVanilla.com and emceeing the Coca Cola main stage. Get full details of times and locations below. If you can’t get to Atlanta this weekend, you have more chances later this year to see DNR. The pride circuit doesn’t end for them until October, and they are only half way through their events. Tons of opportunities to hang with your favorite radio show hosts later this year.
