Previously on Derek and
Romaine: The week began with a fantastic Memorial Day show.
DNR and Danglin’ Dan chowed down on giant buckets of KFC, took a ton of crazy
phone calls and gave away some crap. The giveaways continued all week as Derek and Romaine
gave away extras from Romaine’s toy box (it’s overflowing!) as well as several
of the new DNR Summer Tour t-shirts
presented by PureVanilla.com. The
t-shirts are HOT and very limited.
More will be given away on the air throughout the summer, plus, DNR are bringing
a few to each of the pride events they emcee. So, if you have the chance, come
on out and say “Hey Bitches” and you may get a shirt, while supplies last! One
of the most popular guests this week was Deb Dillon, creator of Muses Products. It is a software
package you download filled with all the legal forms you could need to protect
yourself, your home and your relationship, especially if you are
LGBT. Another interesting guest was
Chris Markl, a college student from Colorado,
who has just left on the Yes Ride which he
created, a bike trip from Seattle to Boston to raise money for
the developing world. You can check his progress online at yesride.org and DNR
listeners have already started emailing him through the site offering up bottles
of water along the route and volunteering to come out and cheer them on as they
go through their town. And we encourage you to do the same! Our DNR Mystery
Guest this week was Sarah Bettens, a
singer/songwriter who will be performing this Sunday at Utah Pride in Salt Lake City. Derek is
already on his way to Utah Pride, so Romaine ended the week with the brief
return of The Romaine Show featuring
Diana Cage and other fun guests.

The week begins with Utah Pride
in Salt Lake
City. DNR are your emcees on Sunday, June 4th,
from Noon to 6pm. They are also
speaking on the political stage at 3pm. Catch them in the Sirius booth or hang
out in front of the stage and watch the magic. The night before, you may find Derek wandering
aimlessly through The Trapp Door after 10pm. If you can’t get to Utah this weekend, every
weekend in June, DNR are hitting the road and they may be coming to a city near
you! Next up: Washington DC Pride on June 10th-11th,
Portland, OR Pride on June
17th-18th, and Atlanta Pride on June
23rd-25th. Tons of opportunities to hang with your favorite
radio show hosts. And if you can’t get to these cities, don’t worry.
They will be at more cities later
this year. Monday will be filled with stories from Salt Lake City as well as
another chance to get a limited edition DNR Summer Tour t-shirt from PureVanilla.com. Also, DNR will
