Previously on Derek and
Romaine: DNR returned from vacation rested and ready
to entertain! Romaine spent her week of vacation in San Antonio, TX enjoying Fiesta Week, while Derek traveled to LA
and Key West, where he learned to ask everyone woman in town the burning
question: “How is your conch prepared?” It was also the final week for
fundraising for the Seacoast AIDS Walk and the money started to pour in, thanks
to Romaine torturing the listeners with horrendous songs like Tiny Tim’s
“Tiptoe Through The Tulips” and the Venga Boys. The show ended on Friday night with more than $36,000
raised, and still three days left to go before the walk on Sunday May
7th. DNR revealed that the money raised had come from only about 400
listeners which means that a lot of you reading this email didn’t even donate
five dollars. Every little bit helps and donations will continue to be
accepted through Sunday, May 7th. Please click

Coming up this week on Derek and Romaine (all times

The week starts on Saturday,
May 6th with an appearance by Derek and Romaine in Ogunquit, ME. Meet them in person at Inside/Out, Saturday night
at 9pm. Then, join them at the Seaocast AIDS Walk on Sunday, May
7th. Registration starts at 1pm with the walk stepping off at 2pm.
Walk along with them on Team Derek
And Romaine or just hang out and cheer them on. Returning to the air on Monday,
DNR will have tons of stories from the weekend, plus photos of Dangle Libre,
Danglin’ Dan getting his head shaved, and if the donations keep coming in,
Romaine in a dress! Plus the usual assortment of great guests and tons of fun.
