Previously on Derek and
Romaine: This past week, Derek and Romaine delivered a
Taste of New York with guests
highlighting the best the city has to offer. The week ended with the official three year
anniversary of the show, as well as OutQ. A splashy anniversary special is
planned for the coming weeks, but for now listeners made do with some
congratulatory calls to the show on Friday. Derek and Romaine also pushed hard
for donations to the Seacoast AIDS Walk. They are walking again this year in Portsmouth, NH and they really need your support, big or
small (click
here to donate). The walk
benefits AIDS Response, a local organization that
does HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention in Maine, New Hampshire and
Massachusetts.
The last time they walked, DNR
listeners generously donated almost $21,000. This year, their goal is $50,000 but if they reach
$75,000 by May 7th they promise to get legally married later this
year… to each other! Every donation
you give helps ($5, $10, anything) and everyone who donates will receive a
decal from Sirius Satellite Radio. If you are in the Portsmouth, NH area and you want to walk with the DNR
team, you can sign
up on the Seacoast AIDS Walk website as well. Please give as generously as
you can. All donations are tax-deductible and help in the fight against
HIV/AIDS. And finally, since Sunday was Easter and Derek is obsessed with the

Things kick off early this week
with an appearance by DNR on the Jay Thomas Show on Sirius
Stars, Channel 102. They will be on
the show on Monday at 2:15pm ET/11:15am PT, so tune in and say hi. Also this week, some of
your favorite people from entertainment, sports and the internet drop by. Openly
gay former NFL player Esera Tuaolo
joins the show, along with the return of notorious blogger Michelle Collins.
Plus, direct from daytime TV,
Emmy-nominee Bobbie Eakes and McKenzie Westmore. So much fun stuff, you won’t
want to miss a minute of it. You never know who is dropping by next on Derek and
Romaine. Also, don’t forget to catch “I’ve Got A Secret” debuting on Monday
night on the Game Show Network. It features OutQ’s very own funnyman Frank DeCaro as well as show favorite Suzanne Westenhoefer. If you
don’t watch, Frank will just stress eat a whole box of thin mint Girl Scout
cookies and you don’t want that to happen!
